I love this book, since I'm the author of it. It's a workbook for Truthseekers who would like to unleash the Power they have to improve the quality of their many lifetimes of learning and growth.
I wrote it in a conversational style, as I might lead a class discussion, but I've included illustrations, diagrams, and exercises to improve your psychic sensitivity; to find out about your prior lives; to test and validate that information; to heal yourself of past-life traumas; to improve your relationships with friends, family, lovers, and bosses; to live a happier, more progressive life; and of course, to speed up your personal evolution of Consciousness!
For those not ready for such dramatic events--I've written in a way that they can simply read about past lives and try on the idea for a while. I've used my (nearly) forty years of personal experience studying and teaching about reincarnation and the interdimensional energy science of life that supports our travels from life to life. I've even shared things that make me a bit uneasy, personal examples I'm putting out into the public in the hope that they'll benefit others in their quest for self-understanding.

A must-read for 21st century cosmic explorers and seekers alike.

"You no longer have to struggle with vague descriptions of Soul or Christ Self, Higher Self, Timeless Self, or whatever you've been calling the vast, unknown parts of yourself that we all somehow feel we surely must possess...By your very design, you are linked to the Cosmos and everything that happens in it." This is one of many wise nuggets of soul-felt "truths" that deeply resonated with me in this Goodreads "first-read" book that I received from the author, Lianne Downey.
The self-proclaimed "sister in the quest" discusses several metaphysical concepts and universal "principles" in her new book, Speed Your Evolution: Become the Star Being You Are Meant to Be. Thankfully, unlike so many other metaphysical teachers, she refrains from using the term, "Universal Laws" which, as she explains, can be broken just like any other law. The title and the concept of speeding up one's evolution may seem a bit airy-fairy for some, however the author draws from 20+ years of practical knowledge and experience, ranging from being an in-the-trenches student to a practicing master teacher.
Though the author mainly favors the teachings of Ernest L. Norman, she is well-versed in a myriad of modalities--including energy medicine and reincarnation reenactments (which I found utterly fascinating, and frankly had never heard or read of anything like it until I picked up this book). She also lists an impressive and detailed catalog of resources in Appendix B in the back of the book.

Speed Your Evolution: Become the Star Being You Are Meant to Be was definitely a good read, but certainly not the type of book one rushes through in a couple of days. Like other great esoteric texts, the messages, tools, and processes contained within its pages are simple, yet powerful. Some chapters may have to be read several times at different intervals in order to unlock their full potential. I also loved the cover art and the fact that the author refers to her spiritual team as "cosmic coauthors." Brilliant!

insight to my sped up evolution

I can appreciate all the wonderful insights that were shared in this book. Delves into some of the unspoken topics of our present day world. The life, death, reincarnation struggles were explained along with this idea of the Immortality of the soul. Each were given meaning so we/the readers could relate our own connection to these inescapable life conditions.
Very well written. Easy to understand. Many creative examples the author "Lianne Downey and her Cosmic Co-authors" related on how to deal with present and past problems. I see this form of self help can really launch one to find his own freedom of expresion.
On many levels we all share the same experiences....however different, I see that at the core we all want to succeed. The reading this book gave me a glimpse how someone else overcame their problems and lessons of life. It helped me/the reader have another tool in the tool chest of logic and reason to carry on to overcome my own problems.
I commend all the work that was done to share and relate some very deep and personal life experiences brought out in this book. This book pesented many self help insights to the creative tapastry one can weave from overcoming the past conditions and problems by using examples we all can relate to.
A nice touch to the written language that made it a joy to read. I felt satified and connected in the end that all was well, that all will be well, as we travel to learn this never ending life adventure.

Gratifying and Affirming

Lianne Downey could have titled this book "Enlighten Yourself" or "Steps to Realizing the Universe" or "Mastering Your Lives." It's all in this book.
You might think such a book would be difficult, boring, impractical, too much work; perhaps the word "evolution" triggers religious fears...but "Speed Your Evolution" is wonderfully readable, attainable, humorous, marvelously human - and the `work' is Light.
It's still a serious "how to" book, absolutely packed with vital, vibrant information and probing personal exercises for maximum growth.
People call me a mystic, so my approach to the subject of speeding my evolution is more religious in nature than Lianne's scientific, cosmic approach. We may speak a different language about the practice and process of increasing your spiritual trajectory, and yet we agree utterly.
That this is true is very gratifying and affirming to me, deepening my acknowledgement and understanding of oneness as a species, and our oneness as Cosmic Beingness.
"Speed Your Evolution" is not only a book you can read; it's a book you can use to lift yourself to a new level of consciousness. Bravo to Lianne Downey and her Cosmic CoAuthors.
